MEET ANTONIO AND CLAUDIO, FOUNDERS OF BAIZIK

INTERVIEW WITH THE FOUNDERS OF BAIZIK, UNIQUE BRANDS FOR UNIQUE PEOPLE

 

Baizik was born in 2020 with the goal of connecting unique people with unique brands through an online marketplace. The reason Antonio and Claudio decided to build this platform was simple: they believe humans are at their best when they are free to be themselves, when they are authentic. Authenticity can be expressed in many ways, but one of the main one is what we wear every single day.  Baizik was therefore born to support small, independent businesses who are all about building the best and most unique products for their customers.

– WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO SPECIALIZE IN VEGAN / SUSTAINABLE / INDEPENDENT FASHION?

We believe that we’re evolving to a world where people want to feel unique, to be different. The new generations have been told that they should be able to express themselves as they see fit, and fashion is one of the main ways of doing so. There are many brands, like Canussa, that when we wear them, we feel different straight away. Not only we understand what was put by small entrepreneurs on what we are wearing, but we also know that the product is completely unique and not being sold in every shopping mall. We want to help these brands to get to unique people all over the world, and that is why we have deiced to focus on independent fashion. For a more original and unique world.

 

– WHAT ARE THE MAIN CHALLENGES YOU FACE?

As we still are a young startup, we face the typical challenges that one should expect such as “where to spend our media budget?” or even “what is the best next step for us?”. There are no easy questions for these challenges but at the same time, this is what makes it fun for us.

– WHY IS CANUSSA AT BAIZIK?

All of our brands need to go tick the boxes in criteria that we have developed, that contain metrics such as: being independent, sustainability, age, communication, transparency, amongst some others. Canussa is a perfect example of a brand that ticks all these boxes so it only made sense to get them on Baizik 🙂
