At the dynamic intersection of design, sustainability, and technology, CLOSCA has established itself as a brand that not only creates products but also drives a shift in mindset. Its vision goes beyond aesthetics: it seeks to transform habits and awareness for a more responsible world. We spoke with Carlos Ferrando, founder of CLOSCA, about how his disruptive approach is redefining urban fashion and sustainability.

From Accessories to Statements of Values
"Urban fashion conveys who we are and what values we want to show the world," Carlos explains. At CLOSCA, that connection goes beyond clothing, their products are a visual statement of commitment:
-
CLOSCA Helmet: Designed for urban cyclists, it combines safety and style. Released at a time when wearing a helmet seemed incompatible with fashion, its revolutionary design made its way into iconic stores like MoMA in New York. Now, with the launch of Chameleon, CLOSCA takes this concept to the next level: a bold design that not only protects but also adapts to each individual’s style, reaffirming their commitment to innovation and functionality.

"We aim to highlight individuals who choose to act sustainably, transforming their choices into something aspirational and meaningful," Carlos shares.
Educating for Change
While many companies focus on transforming their processes, CLOSCA has chosen a unique approach: inspiring people to change their habits, combining design, technology, and innovation to empower consumers through simple but transformative actions.
The brand has harnessed the power of its Water app, which geolocates public and private fountains, to promote the use of reusable bottles and encourage small changes with a global impact. By integrating this app into platforms like Apple Maps, they’ve reached millions of users, making it easier to locate water refill stations. Additionally, through collaborations with global brands like Zara and Ducati, CLOSCA continues to seize opportunities to educate and empower more responsible decision-making worldwide.
One Step Closer to Change
CLOSCA understands that strategic collaborations are essential to amplifying its impact. “We work with other brands to share a common message. From customizing products to creating unique experiences, we aim to inspire changes that matter,” Carlos emphasizes.
And while much cannot yet be revealed, something special is on the way. CLOSCA and CANUSSA LAB are joining forces to transform the way we perceive design and environmental responsibility in our daily lives. This collaboration, to be announced soon, promises to combine innovation, functionality, and a deep commitment to the environment.
Small Actions, Big Changes
Carlos makes it clear that change starts with small, conscious decisions:
-
Reflect on your habits: What impact do they have?
-
Reduce single-use plastic: We produce 1 million bottles per minute, yet only 9% are recycled.
-
Turn caring for the environment into a lifestyle: Picking up trash can become an aspirational action.
